February Artist of the Month - Jennie Walker

Coming from a family of song writing, singing and performing, she started on her journey as an artist at a young age. Not only being born on an Army base in Texas she has taken the military philosophy of helping others.

Her strong desire to help others is very evident in the organizations she is and has been involved with causes like The Carter Center in Atlanta and Boys & Girls Clubs of America plus others.

With the release of her album "Night Flight to London" she has been and will donate of portion of her proceeds to a number of different causes such as WhyHunger, Columbus State University and others.

Not only does she has a giving heart but she also has a voice that travels through the air on the softest breezes of wind. The work she and Tommy Faragher have done is exceptional.

Her song "Hero in my Eyes" is one of those exceptional songs that is on her album "Night Flight to London". When you listen to the song you feel that she is not only talking about those that she strives to help with her generous heart as she sees them as heroes in their own way but also of someone that is very close to her that she sees as her hero. Her voice is magical and the emotions of hope and happiness is heard with each word and note she sings from deep in her heart.

So without further ado, Black Rose Radio is proud to announce our February Artist of the Month ~ Jennie walker, the astounding Indie Artist out of Texas and New York who has touched so many in the world.

It is an honor for us to be able to spotlight an amazing person as Jennie Walker. She not only gives of herself in the music she has created and shared with all of us but she has given of herself in trying to help others around the world.
